Do your surf instructor training with us. At the A-Frame surf camp in El Palmar, we offer you top conditions to complete the ILS - International Lifesaving Federation and the ISA Surf Instructor Level 1 and 2. With these two licenses you can work anywhere in the world.

Difference ISA Level 1 and 2

ISA Level 1 Surf Instructor

Target group:
Beginners and aspiring surf instructors.

Content:
Basics of surf instruction.
Safety in the water and rescue techniques.
Basic knowledge of coaching and methodology.

ISA Level 2 Surf Instructor

Target group:
Experienced surf instructors who want to acquire advanced knowledge.

Content:
In-depth coaching methods.
Advanced rescue and safety techniques.
Development and planning of training programs.
Techniques to improve students' surfing skills.

What requirements do I need to fulfill for surf instructor training?

Current beach lifeguard training
The training must be recognized by ISA.
2 years surfing experience
Demonstration of your own surfing skills at a predetermined level.
Course requirement
You must be able to prove that you can teach surfers from beginner level (never surfed before) to intermediate level (paddling green waves, riding left and right, basic maneuvers).
Motivation & English
A sense of responsibility and teaching skills are desirable. The course is in English.

How do I reserve or book the surf instructor training?

Send us an email with your name, address and date of birth. Let us know which course you would like to book (ISA 1 or 2, SUP or SLSA) and we will send you a confirmation with payment details.

Note: SLSA membership (20 British pounds = approx. €23.50) is not included.
