Note: Because the ILS course is offered together with the ISA Level 1 course and the daily schedule depends on the weather conditions, you can only book the ILS complete package for 6 nights.

Lifesaving holds:
Show 2 rescue holds given by the instructor
Open Water Exercises:
Know and understand all signals
Swim 100 meters (fins optional) to an unconscious patient
Perform EAV (Expired Air Ventilation) on the patient, simulate consciousness and bring the person to shore, including aftercare under real conditions
Rescue an unconscious, non-breathing person 150 meters from the shore with a rescue board, demonstrate EAV in the water and bring the person back to the beach
Rescue a conscious person (approx. 50 meters from the beach) without aids and demonstrate proper handling of the patient
As a lifeguard, team leader or part of the team, initiate appropriate action in an unknown simulated emergency and perform aftercare on 1-2 patients; complete an accident report
As part of a team, rescue a person with a suspected spinal injury and bring them to safety; demonstrate proper execution and aftercare

Simulate an emergency situation:
Safety and assessment of the emergency situation
Turning the patient from prone to supine position, opening the airway and checking for signs of life
Actions in case of vomiting and airway obstruction
Securing the recovery position and aftercare
Demonstrate CPR and the use of supplemental oxygen on a manikin, including clearing the airway for a suspected spinal injury caused by the jaw thrust
Demonstrate CPR on a child and baby manikin
Simulated emergency situation:
Initiate first aid procedures for an unknown simulated emergency situation with a patient
