This is what a yoga class at A-Frame Camp looks like

The yoga classes take place right by the sea. Either in our beautiful yoga house or outside. Our yoga courses are suitable for both beginners and advanced yogis. We cater to all needs, and a week's yoga course specifically means:

5 days yoga course, 1-2 classes daily (90 minutes each)
small groups
Fresh and healthy meals
Yoga material included
optional surf taster course
You can also book an optional massage

You don't have to travel far for a yoga vacation

Because here in the south of Spain, the sun shines almost continuously even in winter and it is rarely below 20 degrees. Here we have a climate like California and that in Europe. Enjoy the warming rays of the sun and the sound of the sea during your yoga practice, even in fall, winter and spring. Long white beaches, no rocks and almost always sunshine. In short: perfect conditions for your yoga vacation.

Yoga teacher Jana

Jana

Jana has already filled many positions at A-Frame. You may know her from emails, yoga classes or as a camp leader at the Oasis. She has now shifted her focus to retreats and leads the yoga part of the popular A-Frame Yoga Surf Journey. Anchored in a wealth of experience and knowledge from many years of training and practice in yoga, Ayurveda and tantra, among others, she guides you through well thought-out, harmonious sessions with a great deal of calm and empathy and creates an atmosphere for growth, encounters, joy in movement and relaxation in her retreats.

Yoha teacher Solveig

Solveig - Your yoga teacher

Until 2020, when Solveig fulfilled her deepest wish to live by the sea, surf more and realign herself, she worked in senior management with a focus on strategy and personnel development.

Inspired by the possibilities and effects of interdisciplinary concepts, she combines different methods to harmoniously connect body, mind and soul. She sees yoga as a flowing, holistic and, above all, open approach. It is important to her to support people in discovering their joy in being and in the journey to themselves and to develop themselves effectively on all levels.

Solveig has been teaching yoga since 2009 and is a certified yoga teacher (500h+), qualified Pilates, back and personal trainer, certified business coach, nutritionist and wellness & massage therapist.

Yoga and surfing are the perfect complement: stability, coordination and relaxation are practised in flows and postures. This provides support, has a balancing effect and can prevent injuries.

Surf instructor Sabrina

Sabrina - your surf instructor

Sabrina has been a surf instructor since 2022, teaching on the beautiful beaches of Pembrokeshire in Wales in the summer and spending winters in El Palmar as part of the A-Frame surf team. She first stood on a surfboard in Lanzarote in 2011 and has been traveling to the most beautiful waves around the world ever since. Before she made surfing her job, she worked as a researcher in educational psychology at university. There she developed support programs for families and taught future teachers. She is an expert in motivational coaching and learning. As a surf instructor, she is able to combine her two passions, surfing and teaching.

What she particularly likes about surfing is that every wave is different and you have to adapt to each wave in a new way. This requires creativity and flexibility. Waves are never absolutely perfect, which makes them beautiful, but surfing as a sport is also very interesting and absolutely challenging.

Yoga teacher Jane

Jane

Jane began her personal self-love journey in 2018. A major motivation was the diagnosis of her own autoimmune disease. Dealing with herself and the great desire to get well were and still are her driving forces. Helping others and showing that self-healing is possible at any time are her motivations. Over the past 3 years, she has developed her own treatment method; The Be You Method.

With her Healing Energetic Facials and the associated rituals for everyday life, she helps her clients on their way to more peace, serenity, reflection, implementation and, in doing so, to regain balance in the body via the body.

Pottery teacher Denise Kratzer

Denise

Denise Kratzer is the owner of db-pottery. She has a degree in business administration and event marketing. During the Corona period, she created her own pottery brand, db-pottery. However, she has already been working regularly and passionately with clay for four years.

Pottery has now become a focal point in her life, an activity where she can realize herself and escape from everyday life for a short time. The high level of concentration at the potter's wheel and its continuous motion have a meditative, almost hypnotic effect. Denise is doing something for her mind and soul - something that is unfortunately often neglected in everyday life. Based on her own experience, she can therefore recommend her motto to everyone: "Clear your mind with dirtty hands."

Pottery teacher Ljubica

Ljubica

Ljubica Jozic is the course instructor (English) of L Shapes Ceramics and right hand of db-pottery Studio. She learned and fell in love with her craft in her hometown, Belgrade. Since then she has been fascinated by clay. Her creations on the wheel as well as her hand-built objects speak for themselves. Ljubica teaches the db-pottery taster and quick courses in English.

Coachin Sonja

Sonja

Our coach Sonja Umstätter lives in Berlin and has been passionately supporting people and organizations who want to make a difference for many years. Sonja is the managing director of the Coaching Laden in Berlin. In her work, she combines warmth and depth with humor and clarity - and not least with the inspiration of what is possible when you dare.

Camp founder Katrin Rose-Michaelsen

Katrin

Katrin is the co-founder of A-Frame and has built up the entire yoga area there. She is a trained yoga and meditation teacher and a qualified sports scientist. Her interest in people and their holistic health has shaped her path from the very beginning. Her classes are characterized by detailed instruction and a pleasant balance between calm and dynamism. She wants to create a space where everyone can come into their own and develop to the maximum. In addition to the physical aspect, Katrin loves yoga philosophy and psychology and incorporates this content into her classes through meditations, journaling and short lectures. For Katrin, yoga is a holistic approach to life that goes beyond physical activity and brings mindfulness into all areas of our lives.
