Solveig - Your yoga teacher

Until 2020, when Solveig fulfilled her deepest wish to live by the sea, surf more and realign herself, she worked in senior management with a focus on strategy and personnel development.

Inspired by the possibilities and effects of interdisciplinary concepts, she combines different methods to harmoniously connect body, mind and soul. She sees yoga as a flowing, holistic and, above all, open approach. It is important to her to support people in discovering their joy in being and in the journey to themselves and to develop themselves effectively on all levels.

Solveig has been teaching yoga since 2009 and is a certified yoga teacher (500h+), qualified Pilates, back and personal trainer, certified business coach, nutritionist and wellness & massage therapist.

Yoga and surfing are the perfect complement: stability, coordination and relaxation are practised in flows and postures. This provides support, has a balancing effect and can prevent injuries.

Katrin

Katrin is the co-founder of A-Frame and has built up the entire yoga area there. She is a trained yoga and meditation teacher and a qualified sports scientist. Her interest in people and their holistic health has shaped her path from the very beginning. Her classes are characterized by detailed instruction and a pleasant balance between calm and dynamism. She wants to create a space where everyone can come into their own and develop to the maximum. In addition to the physical aspect, Katrin loves yoga philosophy and psychology and incorporates this content into her classes through meditations, journaling and short lectures. For Katrin, yoga is a holistic approach to life that goes beyond physical activity and brings mindfulness into all areas of our lives.

In this week, Jane and Katrin will accompany you on an intensive journey to yourself. Through movement, feeling, sensing and reflection, we will first bring balance back into your body and develop an awareness of yourself - internally and externally.

Our body speaks and communicates with us every second of the day. Interpreting and understanding these signals, e.g. from symptoms of illness, discomfort or stress, is so exciting. It is the basis for developing mindfulness and creating a life that is more in tune with you, nourishes you and does you good.

Meditation, asanas, journaling, sharing and physical care lower our stress levels and activate the parasympathetic nervous system. From this state of calm, we find our way back to our strength, reconnect with ourselves and can realign ourselves much more easily with what we want to create for ourselves.

About the retreat

In this one-week retreat, Solveig and Katrin create a space of mindful retreat for you. Daily yoga and meditation are combined with mindfulness exercises, beautiful rituals and self-massage. This invites you to pause for a moment, feel yourself more and consciously perceive the moment. Small journaling sessions, talks and conversations give you time to reflect, recognize your needs and gain clarity about your physical and inner processes.

In the spirit of winter, a time of retreat and introspection, we incorporate powerful elements of nature into the retreat. Nature also withdraws during this time. It rests and gathers strength so that it can shine again in spring. We would like to offer you this space too.

A week that will give you peace and strength and inspire you to incorporate more movement, mindfulness and self-care into your everyday life.

The course: movement, self-care & mindfulness

Together, Solveig and Katrin want to support you in finding your way back to feeling good about yourself and your body. It is a path that stimulates all your senses. Feel yourself, build up strength, relax deeply and restore the joy in yourself, the movement and the moment.

Every morning, Katrin will gently guide you into your body with yoga and meditation. We address a different area of the body each day and consciously perceive the holistic effect of the exercises on our entire being. With the help of chakra teachings and targeted journaling questions, you will gain valuable insights into your inner and outer processes, which are supported by your own experiences and lead to more clarity beyond the mat.

Solveig will incorporate her knowledge of emotional and body work as well as massage therapy and support you in discovering your individual path. We will be guided by the theme of the day. Grounding experiences of nature, touching self-awareness and uplifting rituals will help you to bring your body, mind and soul back into harmony. You will learn practical ideas to establish your own special self-care moments in everyday life. When you understand yourself better, become more aware and take good care of yourself, your holistic wellbeing is effectively strengthened.

Yoga with Katrin

We start the day with intensive movement. Katrin guides you through a mindful yoga flow that strengthens and opens you up, straightens and relaxes you in equal measure. In each session, Katrin invites you to gently leave your physical comfort zone and break down obstructive movement patterns. You will get to know new spaces in your body and come into your full strength. Embedded in meditation, deep breathing and a long final relaxation, each session has a beneficial and balancing effect on your entire being. You will learn about the chakras (energy circles) and their effects and will be able to feel them in your body through practice.

Our yoga house is located right by the sea. So you can enjoy the sun, the beach and the waves of Andalusia on your yoga vacation.

Yoga material included

You don't need to bring your own yoga equipment. We have everything you need: yoga mats, blocks, bolsters, straps, blankets and eye pillows.

Healthy and fresh full board with 7 x large breakfast with huge muesli station, bread and rolls as well as breakfast specials (croissants, eggs, smoothie, chia pudding).

7 x lunch and drinks & snacks throughout the day

At lunchtime there is a freshly prepared power lunch buffet with dessert. Water, coffee, organic tea and fruit are available throughout the day.

5 x 3-course dinner

Our chefs will prepare a great dinner for you 5 days a week. The meals are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and/or lactose-free on request.

Unterkunft direkt am Strand

You stay in accommodation directly on the beach in a double room in the Casa. Single room and studio possible with surcharge. There is a maximum of 4 people per casa.

Private garden and terrace

Each casa has its own garden or terrace and a fully equipped kitchen (e.g. stove, fridge), as well as a living room and a bathroom. The garden or terrace is equipped with garden furniture.

The cozy interior, our large terraces, lots of surf and yoga magazines as well as books, games and coffee and tea are designed to invite you to relax.
