Katrin is the co-founder of A-Frame and has built up the entire yoga area there. She is a trained yoga and meditation teacher and a qualified sports scientist. Her interest in people and their holistic health has shaped her path from the very beginning. Her classes are characterized by detailed instruction and a pleasant balance between calm and dynamism. She wants to create a space where everyone can come into their own and develop to the maximum. In addition to the physical aspect, Katrin loves yoga philosophy and psychology and incorporates this content into her classes through meditations, journaling and short lectures. For Katrin, yoga is a holistic approach to life that goes beyond physical activity and brings mindfulness into all areas of our lives.

Having time for yourself is a gift, because we usually have too little of it in our everyday lives. We are so consumed by our tasks, routines and obligations that we quickly lose touch with ourselves.
This retreat is an invitation to give yourself the gift of time. A week just being you, nourishing yourself, finding yourself, feeling yourself. The sun, the sea and the vastness of El Palmar provide a wonderful setting for this retreat - away from your everyday life and towards yourself. In the selected sessions, you will receive well-dosed impulses to strengthen yourself internally and physically. We go from calm to strength and leave plenty of time for experience, reflection and exchange.
You will come back from this week strengthened, grounded and deeply relaxed; with lots of inspiration on how you can maintain the connection to yourself in your everyday life.

Our yoga house is located right by the sea. So you can enjoy the sun, the beach and the waves of Andalusia on your yoga vacation.
We start the day with intensive movement. Katrin will guide you through a mindful yoga flow that strengthens and opens, uplifts and relaxes you in equal measure. Each class guides you mindfully into your body and is logically structured based on a focus. Katrin invites you to gently leave your physical comfort zone and break down hindering movement patterns. We pay attention to correct alignment and your breathing so that you feel the full effect of the exercises, gradually open and strengthen your body and develop mindfulness for yourself and your inner and outer processes.
In the evening classes, we devote ourselves entirely to relaxation. With regenerative exercises, Yin, Yoga Nidra, we open up the space to let go completely, relax deeply and restore a sense of balance. Embedded in meditation, deep breathing and a long final relaxation, each session has a soothing and balancing effect on your entire being. You will learn about the chakras (energy circles), their effects and allow them to reach your body through practice. There will be time for journaling, reflection and sharing. The small group size allows us to provide individual support and a personal atmosphere in the course.
You don't need to bring your own yoga equipment. We have everything you need: yoga mats, blocks, bolsters, straps, blankets and eye pillows.
Healthy and fresh full board with 7 x large breakfast with huge muesli station, bread and rolls as well as breakfast specials (croissants, eggs, smoothie, chia pudding).
At lunchtime there is a freshly prepared power lunch buffet with dessert. Water, coffee, organic tea and fruit are available throughout the day.
Our chefs will prepare a great dinner for you 5 days a week. The meals are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and/or lactose-free on request.
You will stay in accommodation close to the beach in a shared room. You can also book a private room or studio for an extra charge.
Each casa has its own garden or terrace and a fully equipped kitchen (e.g. stove, fridge), as well as a living room and a bathroom. The garden or terrace is equipped with garden furniture.
The cozy interior, our large terraces, lots of surf and yoga magazines as well as books, games and coffee and tea are designed to invite you to relax.
As a change to your yoga routine, you can optionally take part in a surf taster course.
The accommodation is equipped with Wi-Fi.

There you will find toys for very young children and children's books for children up to the age of 5. We are also equipped with children's bicycles, children's bicycle seats, balance bikes, high chairs and cribs.
